Jerry Lewis honors Robin Williams

Jerry Lewis, founder of Legionnaires of Laughter and co-founder of Jerry's House announed the inaugural dinner to celebrate the life and work of Robin Williams at Cipriani, 55 Wall Street, NYC on June 19th, 2017.

The Legionnaires of Laughter Award's evening is the first of its kind, and establishes fundraising initiatives to support Jerry Lewis' new charity Jerry's House.

Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherood host the star-studded event. Comedic legends such as Billy Crystal, Jim Carrey, Steve Martin, Ricky Gervais, Ellen Degeneres, Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Rock, Robert De Niro, Nathan Lane, Jerry Seinfeld, Bette Midler to name a few have been invited.

Legionnaires of Laughter recognizes the invaluable contribution made by comedians, comedic actors/entertainers and the immense value that laughter brings to society. The 2017 gala charity even lays the groundwork for an annual award's celebration.
